It's interesting how going to the doctor is the best way to believe you "have something wrong" and "need to do something about" it when nothing seemed actually wrong…
However, after a routine pap smear (last one I had was in 2010 right before leaving the Netherlands) they found an excessive amount of a bacterial growth in the vagina, the condition is called Bacterial Vaginosis (BV)

and it is different apparently from a yeast infection but the two are often confused. The doctor prescribed an antibiotic which I told her I wasn't very fond of taking and then she said, that if it wasn't bothering me (itchy, smelly are possible symptoms which I don't have) I didn't have to take the antibiotic…
I mentioned the last test in the Netherlands because I remember the doctor saying something similar and saying that I could take an antibiotic and that it might get rid of it or it may not or could come back and that it wasn't anything to worry about, but rather just monitor.
Dr. Mercola http://articles.mercola.com/sites/artic ... t-one.aspx
groups it together with other yeast infections and candida conditions.
Does anyone have suggestions as to something natural I could do? Or if I need to do anything? I could try using yogurt to bring the Ph back up because the condition creates a more acidic environment there, and be more careful to eat smaller amounts more often (as suggested in the candida thread I believe) so as not to trigger the insulin as much. Any other ideas?
Thanks!

The natural thing to do would be doing nothing other than preventing something from causing it,Corinne wrote: Does anyone have suggestions as to something natural I could do?
(like having sex with an 'infected' person, or using something (internally) that may throw your bacterial balance out of wack)
hoping that it will resolve itself. (your body fixing it).
Before trying any 'remedy' I would advise another test to establish your current (actual) condition.I could try using yogurt
