What kind of bottle? Microwave?

Post by thefourth »

Hey everyone, I just have a few questions I thought I should ask on here.

Another thing I've been wondering is about microwaves. A while ago, I read that they so so much harm to your food so I swore off them. On this site, however, It seems that any kind of cooking does similar if not the same things. So is microwaving any worse than other methods of cooking?

Thanks for your input :)

<edit> RRM: I moved the bottle question to here:

That depends on how your cooking normally is,
and how long you cook the food in the microwave.
If you only very mildly fry it on the outside,
and the inside of the meat is still raw, that kind of cooking is less bad
than cooking it in a microwave so that n0othing is raw any longer.
With the primer form of cooking, you can decide to locally cook the food like that.
With a microwave, the cooking happens wherever water is (inside the food).
So, depending on the length of cooking, and the method (and heat),
a microwave can be less or more harmful.

Interesting, I kind of thought that it may be as such. But many of the microwavable meals would be the worst form of cooking since they are cooked twice. Unfortunately many people eat these also.

If we eat an apple while talking on the cell phone, is the apple being cooked by the microwave rays emitted from the phone?

If that would be slightly true, making phone calls would be lethal.
So, the answer is: "No"
