Of course this was an exaggeration, lack of phosphorus isn't what's causing the demineralization in the first place but it is essential for the enamel to remineralize, and aside from that one factor I think I'm meeting every possible criteria for healthy teeth. But anyway that discussion is better s...

I don't know if that will interest you, but here is an update on my hair situation : ) I haven't used shampoo at all for... how long has it been, 8 months? I rinse my hair with water most days, I wash with a mix of egg yolk and lemon juice when it feels a little greasy, or rinse with water and apple...

Ah, I forgot to add. The other day, I made pork stew for some friends. I decided I was gonna taste it at least. I took a tiiiiny nibble out of that piece of meat, and immediately spit it out. It was revolting. I sure hope that was just my own aversion to meat and not my stew that was bad  I als...

10 months now, still doing well, no change since last time really except it's summer and we get access to fresh fruit, yay. I mostly wanted to drop by to say that I've decided I'm tired of being a graphic artist, and I think I'm going back to school (part time, it's all I can afford) to work as a nu...

How much fish to meet phosphorus RDA?
Am I right to estimate that in order to reach the FDA's RDA for phosphorus requirement, we would have to eat around 10 slices of sashimi or 10 egg yolks a day? o.O Unless, I underestimated the weight of a slice of sashimi (4g?) Phosphorus is essential for good teeth and I've been thinking lack of it...

Ah, I hadn't thought of it that way. Maybe if I got a different juicer I could get around some of the vitamin problems, yeah... I can't eat anything acid so no citrus and I currently only have a citrus juicer, but once I can afford to buy a new one... Right now I don't drink juice, only water or hon...

It's not THAT easy. For the past three weeks I've tried to prove to my mom (who won't stop nagging at me about me needing supplements because I get sick often, bruise easily, get shaky hands etc.) that I could meet the RDA for every single vitamin and mineral by following this diet. The results have...

Good idea. The thing is, I only have a citrus juicer. Heh, that thing won't have served me very long... I guess a different kind of juicer will be on my birthday list. (Along with a stick blender so I can make aioli and mayonnaise! Yay.) I'm not 100% sure I could drink, say, straight apple juice and...

That's pretty much it, yeah. I eat more (raw) vegetables each day, and I've found that I really need to take their nutrional value in consideration if I'm gonna be anywhere near the RDA for just about everything. I'm also trying to keep an eye on my weight (it's harder without the OJ+oil). I think m...

I have to share some frustration. All of my health problems seem to revolve around all the fluids in my body being freakishly acidic. It causes me urinary problems, sexual problems, and also teeth problems. Since I've started this diet I've stopped eating/drinking a lot of things that aggravated tho...

Well a big part of this diet, for me at least, has been maintaining my blood sugar, and alcohol makes it go through the roof, so I've been trying to avoid, though I cave now and then. Then again it's probably fine for others, I'm just extremely sensitive to these things. Every time my blood sugar ri...

Since I don't have a camera anymore, I figured I'd post the only recent picture of me that I have. Obviously it's gonna be more flattering than my usual mugshots. http://img501.imageshack.us/img501/3216/7mohw1.jpg So as you can see, smooth skin and I don't look like the living dead anymore. But I've...
