Thank you, RRM - that's strange...I guess it depends largely upon whether or not the nuts come from a selenium rich soil? I can't find where coconuts have more selenium per 100g than brazilnuts. The most I see is 18.2 mcg per 100g...? Where do I find that? Thank you!

:)

Hi, Cairidh :) You've only been eating brazil nuts for protein? I know it's a great source of protein, but they also contain a HUGE amount of selenium. One ounce of brazil nuts (about 6-8 nuts) contains about 839 mcg of selenium, and the daily "upper limit" according to the Institute of Medicine is ...

You're welcome :) I've never needed to try it, but I thought I'd share it in case it works. Guess I should've put some sort of explanation by the link - sorry about that, guys (and girls;))

Hi Sula! :) You cellulite-free beauty! ;) Hehe. I eat yolks or sashimi probably every day. But I eat them AFTER my glycogen deposits are empty, or after walking. I didn't do that before! Alright, so on the days where you don't walk, do you eat the yolks/sashimi when you haven't eaten anything for a ...

You're welcome zazuna :) I actually tried a progesterone cream a couple years ago, when my cycles were even more out of whack than they are now, and I unfortunately didn't have any changes, but, again, it would probably be a temporary solution, and not actually fix the problem. Yes, I agree that it ...

Yay :D I'm glad you're going to give it a try without the pill, Masha! And I'm glad you're going to get the book, too! :) Every woman should give it a thorough read. I've been searching a bit more about PCOS, and I found this site that says that the underlying cause of PCOS is Insulin Resistance, bu...

Amber, I checked out the link on Santa Cruz, it is a romantic place--most of all, I would love to visit the strawberry fields!!! of the Pajaro Valley--do visitors get to pick some berries? Yummy! Hehe, yes, there are some "pick-your-own" strawberry fields  Most of them are not organic, but I ...

Hi, Masha:) I'm not sure if I have PCOS, but I've had at least two cysts that have burst, but I'm not sure what kind - ?(They could also be Fibroid Tumors?) So, my acne is definately hormonal. A supplement that REALLY helps me is called Vitalzym - it's a systemic enzyme supplement that eats away at ...

That's SO wonderful, Sula! You just gave me a big burst of motivation to go back to 100% again, and start walking a lot more. I've been having about 15g protein mucnhfood a day for a while, but it won't be too difficult to go to back to 0g. May I ask - have you had ANY munch foods in the past two mo...

Wow, Zazuna - your country is very beautiful! Masha is also a pretty name:) Here are some pictures of the general area where I live in Santa Cruz, California - it was really hard to find any and these aren't a very good representation, but oh well  http://www.santacruz.org/places/county.shtml ...

Zazuna ~ My boyfriend (fiance, really) is also obsessed with bikes! Haha, he just built me a very nice new mountain bike, because my old frame was just a bit too small for me. It's been so rainy lately that we haven't been able to ride. Maybe this summer I'll begin riding to work - it's only about 3...

Welcome to the forum, Zazuna! What a beautiful name. I haven't heard of your country before! I feel quite ignorant right now - it's quite a large country, too - thanks for the map, Oscar :) I love maps...maybe I should look at them more often! What's your country like, Zazuna? Thanks :D

...who on earth would do it?! http://milkshare.birthingforlife.com/ With all due respect, three months on formula is not enough to tell if formula will do a baby any harm for the rest of his/her life. Depending on the formula, any ill effects may show up later in life, and especially if soy formula...
